Hey, it’s Andrew!
Welcome to the debut of our new Grawlix question and answer section, ‘Ask Andy?’ Ben and Adam said they would actually prefer it if I handled this job, and said they were ‘way too busy’ and ‘no one gives a shit’.
Dear Andy: I noticed that Adam Cayton-Holland is clearly the only one of you…

vegetable papyrus! if you have never seen/heard of it before, it is really easy to make, friends.
all you have to do is:
- slice your vegetable (I like zucchini the best!) as evenly as you can (about 3mm wide), and then
- mircowave them until tender
- lay down a about half of a newspaper (or something else absorbant) and then a piece of cotton fabric (just whatever you’ve got layin’ around!) and then lay out the veggie pieces in whatever pattern you want (make sure they are overlapping though! like mine are in the photo)
- cover that with another piece of cotton fab, and then some thin drawing paper or somethin’ and then more newspaper on top!
- put that into a press, or just put loads of books on top of it
- you should probs change the paper every couple of days to get rid of extra moisture so that it dries ASAP! usually is ready in like less than a week and is really pretty. it’s kind of fragile but I wrapped up a little box with it and it was a very very very cute present!
